Our Lady of Mount  Carmel Church is located in the historical sea side town of Bristol, Rhode Island.  The Church was founded in 1917 following an 18 year tradition begun in 1899 by the Italian immigrants who came to this area honoring Mary, Queen of Carmel with a feast and procession each year on the 16th of July.Click here for details.   This feast continues to this day in prayerful and joyous festivities. Come and visit us and give honor to the Blessed Mother of God as she leads us to Christ.

Remember O Most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought they intercession was left un aided.  Inspired by this confidence I fly unto thee O Virgin of Virgins my Mother. To thee I come before thee I stand sinful and sorrowful.  O Mother of the Word Incarnate depsise not my petitions but in thy mercy hear and answer me, AMEN

Welcome to the Web Site of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Bristol, Rhode Island. Here at Mount Carmel we try our best to serve God and His Church with a lively faith, a steadfast hopefullness, and an abundance of charity. With an Italian Heritage as a foundation, the parish and the school, since the early 1900's, have grown in this journey of faith as we together proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With God's grace, we will continue on this pilgrimage as we grow in the light of Christ.

May Christ Jesus give you his peace.

    Rev. Henry P. Zinno, Jr.
